For problems that are urgent when the office is closed, leave a message on the office answering machine and then hang up.  After leaving the message, please dial my beeper at 516-651-4834 and type in YOUR unblocked telephone number after the beep

If you are considering calling for an ambulance, DO IT!  You can reach me, and we can sort out the problem, after things are stabilized.  Please be sure that the telephone number of your local emergency responders is on EVERY telephone your home or business.

Directions to the Office

We are located in the Village of Cedarhurst, at 123 Grove Avenue, between the Long Island Railroad tracks and Central Avenue, and we are directly across the street from the Cedarhurst Post Office.

If there are no spaces available in the parking lot next to the office, you can find additional parking in the municipal lot adjacent to the post office directly across the street from the office, or along the railroad tracks, 1/2 block north of the office. 

From the NORTH SHORE: Take the Southern State Parkway to exit 19S- Peninsula Blvd.  Proceed  southbound  on Peninsula Blvd. for about 5 miles,  to Mill Rd. (Mill Rd. is beyond Sunrise Highway.) Turn left onto Mill Rd. and go until Mill Rd. ends. This is at West Broadway.  Turn right, onto West Broadway.  About 1 mile down you will see a CITGO Station on the right.  The second left after the Citgo is Grove Ave. Turn left onto Grove Avenue.

From THE BRONX, WESTCHESTER, and MANHATTAN: Take the Van Wyck south to exit 1 and go onto Route 878. DO NOT ENTER THE AIRPORT and DO NOT GO ONTO THE BELT PARKWAY. Continue onto Rockaway Blvd. East and go for 3.3 miles, until the road narrows from 3 lanes to 1- you will see a Dunkin Donuts across the street on the right- and turn left onto West Broadway.  Go 3 traffic lights on West Broadway and then one more block and turn right onto Grove Avenue.

Cross Island Parkway south to exit 24A, Francis Lewis Blvd.  Exit  270 degrees onto Francis Lewis Blvd. and continue for 1.2 miles until the stop sign. Turn left onto Hungry Harbor Rd.and then go until the second traffic light. At the second traffic light, turn right onto Park Lane.  Go to the end of Park Lane and turn right onto Hungry Harbor Rd. (not the same Hungry Harbor Rd. as before) which becomes Branch Blvd.  Go to the end and turn left onto Peninsula Blvd.  Go 2 blocks on Peninsula Blvd. to Church Ave and turn right.  At the end (West Broadway) make a right and immediate left onto Grove Avenue.

From BROOKLYN: Take the Belt Parkway to exit 19 JFK/Nassau Expressway and go to Route 878.  Follow as from the Bronx... above.

BY LIRR: Go to the Cedarhurst station, exit towards the rear of the train, cross the tracks and walk back away from the direction of the train until Grove Avenue.  Go right on Grove Avenue.
